Optimization of Endo-Pectinase and Pectin Lyase Production from Wheat Bran by Bacillus pumilus using Response Surface Methodology

Wheat bran is one of the most used agricultural residues for enzyme synthesis. It has a high organic content; thus, it causes environmental pollution. In this study, wheat was selected as carbon source and supplemented with yeast extract ammonium sulphate. Endopectinase pectin lyase production by Bacillus pumilus performed in batch system. RSM applied to examine effects bran, sulphate concentrations on synthesis enzymes dosages these nutrients were optimized. According model design, optimum conditions 4.74% w/v 0.12% extract. The values R2 adj indicated that fitted showed good agreement predicted actual values. conclusion, studies revealed can be endo-pectinase based activities.
